Salt Lake City 2017 (Full)

Core Skills Training (Full! Closed to new submissions)

About Core Skills

Core Skills Training consists of four two-day workshops. These workshops provide an in depth study of each of the EFT steps. Each day will contain instruction and group supervision of EFT work according to the guidelines set out by the Centre for Excellence in EFT (in Ottawa). Each weekend provides twelve hours of training. When you sign up for the course you are committing your intention to complete all five weekends.

There will be opportunity for participants to get feedback on videos of their own work with clients. Bringing your own video to view is necessary to meet the Advanced Externship requirement of certification.

Attendance meets the ICEEFT course requirement (CEUs provided by Alliant International University)* when applying for Certified EFT Therapist designation.

The only outstanding requirement for Certification after attending Core Skills Training is eight hours of individual supervision. The application process is described on www.iceeft.ca. Final decision regarding readiness for certification is determined by the EFT Centre in Ottawa.

Salt Lake City 2017 Core Skills

Core Skills with Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen and Dr. Scott R. Woolley. This Core Skills meets on Friday/Saturday.
  • Participants must be familiar with and abide by professional and legal confidentiality requirements regarding all client information shared in the training. Certification in EFT is offered by ICEEFT based on completion of all requirements and demonstrated competence in the model. Completion of training does not guarantee competence or certification. Enrollment in this training constitutes an agreement to hold harmless The San Diego Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Training and Research Institute for Emotionally Focused Therapy (TRI-EFT), and all presenters and trainers from any and all claims, actions, and judgements, including all costs of defense and attorney’s fees incurred in defending against the same.
  • The first weekend, we ask all participants to bring 10 minutes of video to share with one or two others as a primer to learn how to see and share tape. We want to give everyone many opportunities to learn how to see and share video, since that provides such powerful learning. Most of the tape showing and sharing we do will be in small, safe and supportive groups.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
